On December 13, 1973, SIRPI: Società Industriale Rivestimenti Parati Italiana was founded with headquarters in Peschiera Borromeo (MI), which, starting in 1974, began production with traditional second-hand printing machines.

From 1975 production in vinyl began with new rotogravure machines and embossing calenders; the following year vinyl spamming began.
In 1978 the French Paul Dumas was acquired and began production in 70 cm width in paper and vinyl.

In the 1980s SIRPI implements its duplez and vinyl embossed wallpaper productions with register embossing.

In the 1990s, nonwoven fabric-based productions are introduced: it starts with vinyl productions and then goes on to add colored and printed backing.

With the arrival of the 2000s, SIRPI continues to implement its production techniques by printing in 1 m wide vinyl and, in addition, introducing digital plotter printing and flock production, both active in the new industrial site in Tribiano, acquired in 2006.

From 2009 to 2014, new production equipment is gradually installed at the modern Tribiano site, until production is completely relocated, and textile wallcovering and natural fiber printing productions begin.
From 2019, the first PVC free productions with embossing are introduced.

In 2023, several innovative digital production lines with single pass technique and 3D printing are installed, and the following year the laminating plant for production of wall coverings and special trims.

The Company can produce many kinds of different substrate and various width: vinyl, non-woven, PVC-free products, natural fibers, precious Textile wallcoverings, metallic mylar vinyl and non-woven, fabric back wallcoverings.
The product can be printed in all kind of different rotary technics: gravure, surface, screen.
All newest tecnilogy of digital prnts are available with high performance and possibility of customisations: high performance plotter technics, single pass, 3D inks, white and Lacquered inks.
Many kinds of finishing are avalable to satisfy any kind of look requirement: in register hot emboss vinyl, lamination multilayers (mylar, metallic effects, sheer non-woven, special effect (3D inks effect, flock, UV lacquered, glass beads and sand applications).
The Company provide to our customers a dedicated product development thanks to a qualified staff, providing tests and product strike-off.
Locals cylinders engravers will assist the development to ensure the best products results.
Over the years we have gradually reduced energy consumption by investing in the proper
management of energy-consuming systems and new technologies for controlling and monitoring
consumption. The gradual implementation of digital printing technologies and major planned
investments will ensure that we will further optimize energy consumption in future
years.
Eighty percent of the roofs are covered with photovoltaic panels, which generate clean
energy for about 24.5 percent of the company's production needs.
The first step toward proper waste management was to identify the sources of waste and manage their flow. Each source is managed individually to limit waste generation, and great care is taken to keep the streams well differentiated by waste type. A specific disposal route is defined for each type of waste in compliance with legal requirements and GREEN routes.
All inks used in our production processes, both in rotary and digital technologies, are ecofriendly and water based. All new latex and UV inks are Green Guard Gold certified and meet the latest European environmental requirements.

our plants.
